DiaLiv is a Personal Health Record (PHR) application. We store health data only when entered by you, including:

• Vital Signs: Blood Pressure (Systolic / Diastolic / Pulse), Blood Sugar (Fasting / Post-Prandial / Random), Weight
• Dialysis Records: Pre-dialysis & post-dialysis weight, Blood pressure readings, UF goal, Dialysis session dates
• Lab Reports: Creatinine, Urea, Potassium, Sodium, etc.
• Medications: Injections (Erythropoietin, Iron, etc.), Prescriptions
• Lifestyle Data: Fluid intake logs

C. Device & Technical Information

We may collect:

• Device tokens (for push notifications)
• App usage data (only if Analytics is enabled)
• Storage access — only when you request (PDF health reports, JSON data backups)

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used only to:

• Authenticate users securely
• Store and display health records
• Generate reports requested by you
• Send reminders and notifications
• Improve app performance and usability

• Health tips and guidance are based on static medical guidelines
• No automated decision-making or AI processing of health data

DiaLiv requests the following permissions:

• Notifications – reminders
• Storage / Files – saving PDFs & backups (only on request)

No permission is used without user action or consent.

6. Data Ownership & User Rights

You own your data. You can:

• View, edit, or export your data anytime
• Download full data backups (JSON)
• Generate health summary reports (PDF)
• Permanently delete your account and data (Account deletion is irreversible)

7. Data Security

• Data is stored securely using Google Firebase
• Industry-standard security practices are followed
• No system is 100% secure, but we take all reasonable precautions

8. Data Retention

• Your data is retained only while your account exists
• Deleted accounts permanently erase associated data

9. Free App & Future Paid Features

DiaLiv is currently provided as a FREE application.

In future versions, we may introduce optional paid or subscription-based features. If introduced:

• Pricing will be clearly disclosed
• Payments will occur only through Google Play Billing
• No charges will be applied without explicit user consent
• Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly

10. Children’s Privacy

DiaLiv is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
